Judge rules TVUSD can enforce it's new transgender notification policy AND the CRT ban. Preliminary injunction requested by the plaintiff was DENIED
Hold onto your hats because on Friday, February 23rd, a California Judge delivered a resounding win for the pro-bono law firm defending Temecula Valley USD (TVUSD) in a fierce battle over parental rights.
Read advocates for Faith & Freedom’s press release here:
Back in 2022 and the preceding year, TVUSD’s newly elected reform school board members – Joseph Komrosky, Jen Weirsma, and Danny Gonzalez - did something unheard of! They kept their campaign promises!
In an astonishing series of 3-2 decisions, these new board members fearlessly passed resolutions that not only banned Critical Race Theory (CRT) but also put in place a groundbreaking parental rights notification policy.
PARENTAL NOTIFICATION POLICY HERE:
Anti-parental rights activists, including the Temecula teachers’ union, predictably panicked over the disruption in their plan to indoctrinate our students and, backed by powerful union dollars, immediately filed a lawsuit to stop these common sense policies.
LAWSUIT AGAINST THE DISTRICT HERE:
Indeed, this court victory isn't just a win; it's a validation of the tireless efforts put forth by our parental rights trustees and their stalwart supporters.
Right after the ruling, Temecula Patch posted, "In Friday's decision, the judge found the plaintiffs did not show sufficient evidence proving students will be harmed by the policies while the case proceeds.”

The judge's decision emphatically dismisses the baseless arguments fueling this frivolous lawsuit as well as the recall attempts against Dr. Komrosky. If the plaintiffs can’t prove students will be harmed by the policy now, then when?
The judge’s decision also underscores the stark difference between the unwavering resolve of Dr. Komrosky, Jen Weirsma, and Danny Gonzalez, and the lamentable leadership demonstrated by Steve Swartz and Allison Barclay. Their stance against parental rights and real student learning has been exposed, standing in sharp opposition to the vibrant future envisioned by the victorious board members.
Now that the path looks to be cleared for unprecedented strides in enhancing the academic achievement of every TVUSD student, we have a golden opportunity, and we're ready to seize it!
Won’t you join the celebration and spread this amazing news far and wide?
As we revel in this triumph, if you live in Trustee Area 4, please help us in making a resounding statement by voting ’NO' on the recall on June 4 and declare that parents are the true authority over their children’s upbringing and educational decisions - NOT powerful unions and outside activist agendas.
